“Quand le cheval marchait dans le ciel“ is a Chinese expression that says people have unrealistic ideas.
Cross people on the street and try to Guess their thoughts. Where do they come from? Who are they, what are they doing? With these strangers, we can let our imagination go as far as possible.
At first, I took pictures of strangers in the street. These were photos taken in Paris and Taiwan, with European and Asian atmosphere. Then I presented these photos to several people from different cultures. I asked them to imagine a story in relation to a photo. As soon as the story is written, I created the visuals for each story with very different ways of illustrating. Including 58 stories and illustrations.
